AGRICULTURAL BIOTECHNOLOGY AND ITS POTENTIAL TO FEED THE GROWING WORLD Ghulam Mohyuddin Wani and Paras Wani Almost all reviews and application procedures of the plant animal biotechnologies stand reviewed(wani,2009).It is said biotechnology may play wonder in feeding the growing world ,however except west and a few nations in a developing gare have the confidence of using biotechnology for production of grains. As the protocols of plant production through tissue culture is in use. The gene transfer for increased production is facing technical problems .In this paper we shall discuss some of these issues. The production capacity of a crop is a composite gene effect and not a single gene effect. The sorting over of the genes is well known and hardy Weinberger formula to analyze the combines gene effects is well known.

Agricultural biotechnology is any technique in which living organisms, or parts of organisms are altered to make or modify agricultural products, to improve crops, or develop microbes for specific uses in agricultural processes. Simply put, when the tools of biotechnology are applied to agriculture, it is termed as "agricultural biotechnology". Genetic engineering is also a part of agricultural biotechnology in today's world. It is now possible to carry out genetic manipulation and transformation on almost all plant species, including all the world's major crops.
Plant transformation is one of the tools involved in agricultural biotechnology, in which genes are inserted into the genetic structure or genome of plants.
